Checkmate

Scarf- Urban Oufitters
Whole outfit was thrifted

My sister and I decided to spend last weekend out doors and went for a walk downtown ( I would of went crazy if I stayed home on such a nice day).  The weather was so nice so it didn’t require a lot of layers. I thrifted this entire outfit in close proximity to one another. I tired to find some similar pieces online.
These high raise mom jeans are a pair I live in (I am wearing them as we speak), and will probably be feathered again. When I first got them they were super tight but they quickly became lose and even a bit baggy which makes them the perfect 80’s mom jeans.  I wore it with a long sleeve plaid high neck top that I half tucked into my jeans so the high raise was visible.  For an even more 90s inspired look I added my small leather backpack and my ankle booties.

I wish my hair was as blue as it was in these pictures but since then I’ve washed it a couple more times and its now a dirty green colour, my sister calls it “sewage water hair”, its she just the sweetest  -_-

Have a great weekend! Talk to you soon <3

Blue Eyed Cat

Cat Shirt Urban Outfitters
Denim shirt- Express
Velvet Leggings- Romwe
Lace Platforms- Icon (simliar here
Purse- Thrifted

So if you weren’t already aware of it, I have this boarder line unhealthy obsession with cats. But not the typical house pet cats, but rather things with cat faces on them, I can’t seem to get enough.
I goy this awesome tee for like $5 when I worked at urban outfitters during the Christmas season. I think is might be a men’s shirt, which makes it 10x better because its over sized and fits so well over a pair of tights.
I am not the biggest fan of plain black tights, so when I saw these on sale last year on romwe I just had to get them. There my go-to bottom on a lazy day they are comfortable and easy but still looks like your trying to look presentable. I layers a denim shirt with leather detailing over top, that my best friend gave me for my birthday last year (she knows me to well!).
And I can’t forget these SHOES!! I bought them on impulses a while back, because their on sale (duh) and they looked similar to the Jerry Campbell As If Shoe, but cooler (if possible) because the shoe is actually made of lace material and not just black canvas.

Anyways I am going to finish the pile of assignments I have due for the week.
Stay positive and breath happy <3

Ready For You

Floral Dress- hand-me-down
Jacket- Talula at Aritzia
Necklace- Urban Outfitter
Sweater- Thrifted
Heels- Thrifted
Bag- Thrifted

This is the third floral dress look. This time I paired it with a muster coloured high neck sweater. The shape and colour of the sweater give the outfit a real 90s feel, especially paired with the chunky leather heels. I added a big statement necklace to contrast against the solid colour of the sweater.
This is my "business" look. I wore this last week on my first day of my office volunteer position with WWF. I don't own many business like or office appropriate pieces in my wardrobe. I just don't see myself using them often. But I think I need to start investing in some business basics, and then I can make them my own by pairing them with some of my more vintage pieces.
